AtΒ MariamRaj, most outfits are stitched or customized with care. We work closely with customers before dispatch to minimize sizing or design issues. Please review the policy below before placing your order.

Return Eligibility

We accept returns only in the following cases:

  • If the measurements are not stitched according to the customer’s confirmed order

  • If an incorrect or defective outfit is sent

Before approving a return, our team will first offer practical solutions, including:

  • Alteration support

  • Covering the cost of alteration, where applicable

If a suitable tailor is not available locally, we may request the outfit to be sent back to us for correction.

If a return is approved, the item must be:

  • Unused and in original condition

  • Returned with original packaging and tags

Quality Check Before Shipping

For stitched orders, we:

  • Share detailed measurement photos and videos of the finished outfit

  • Dispatch the order only after customer approval

This process helps ensure accuracy and reduces return requests.

Return Request Timeline

If there is an issue, you must contact us at order@mariamraj.com within 3 days of receiving your order.

Requests made after this period may not be accepted.

Shipping Costs for Returns

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs

  • We do not provide return shipping labels

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

Order Cancellations

Order cancellation is not required, as measurements, stitching details, and approvals are confirmed before dispatch.

What We Don’t Accept as Returns

  • Minor variations in hand embroidery or color

  • Slight embellishment movement due to the nature of handcrafted work

  • Issues arising after customer approval of stitched measurements

Product Care & Handcrafted Nature

Most MariamRaj outfits are hand-embroidered, and slight variations (5–10%) are natural and not considered defects.
All garments are dry-clean only. Improper care may cause damage and is not covered under returns.
